A fire broke out in a flat at Block 303 Woodlands Street 31 on Monday afternoon .Facebook postSCDF added:"The fire, which involved the contents of a bedroom in a fourth-floor unit, was extinguished by firefighters from Woodlands Fire Station using a water jet."A cat was found in the flat's living room by firefighters and brought out to safety, while about 30 residents from the affected block were evacuated by the police as a precautionary measure.
SCDF also said one person from the affected block was assessed by a paramedic for breathlessness and taken to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
