fatal drive-by shooting of another teen in southeast DallasRoger Dewayne Arnold Jr., 17, was booked into the Dallas County jail Friday on a murder charge in the slaying of Kareem Kendreal Jones, 19, whom police previously said was 17. It was unclear whether Arnold has an attorney.The affidavit also names Javar Rokeem Washington Jr., 18, as a suspect.
A witness told detectives that they saw a black car slow down before someone inside fired several gunshots, and detectives found video showing a black Chevy with “distinctive” damage to one of its doors, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit. The owner told police that Arnold said he would pick her up, but then told her the car had been stolen. She used a phone application to track her vehicle and recovered it about 15 minutes away from the location of shooting, the affidavit says.
