A 31-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were arrested for their suspected involvement in a case of loanshark harassment at a residential unit in Tampines Street 43.

The police said they were alerted to the case on Jan 19, at 6.10pm.

Two bicycle locks, four debtor's notes, one red marker, one memo pad and two mobile phones were seized as case exhibits. For first-time offenders, the offence of loanshark harassment carries a fine between $5,000 and $50,000, with up to five years in jail and up to six strokes of the cane.
