UPDATE: 3 detained in connection with double stabbing at LA High School
responded to a call a short walking distance from Los Angeles High School on West Olympic Boulevard. Two people – later identified as students – were stabbed in the incident. The injured students, both 16, were taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The three people detained were not students at the school, police said. They have been identified as two boys - ages 14 and 17 - and a third person whose age and gender was not released. The 17-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly being in possession of a firearm, authorities said.
