Sleep will inevitably elude new parents, but there are some ways to sneak in more, better sleep.
We're totally on board with the idea that a baby is an absolute blessing and a joy, but that, uh, doesn't mean that there aren't some major, obvious, irreversible downsides of having a baby, too -- not the least of which being the incredibly lack of sleep that many of us experience. This can start during pregnancy, and for many, lasts basically the rest of their lives , but it's definitely at its peak during those early days of living with a perfect but very awake newborn.
