2023: Adamu Garba opens up on ‘leaving APC for Labour Party’ via politicsngr
As the 2023 general election draws near, a stalwart of the All Progressives Congress , Adamu Garba, has dismissed reports that he has left the ruling party for the opposition, the Labour Party.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that according to the Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shettima Grassroots Independent Presidential Campaign, rumours of Garba’s defection from the APC are “false and being propagated by the opposition”. The Campaign added on Wednesday that the former presidential aspirant “remains a loyal member of the APC and is fully committed to the values of the Tinubu/Shettima Renewed Hope Ticket”.
Speaking in the same vein, Garba said in a video: “Since yesterday, they have been busy trending that I have left the APC. How is that possible? “It seems the way these people love me, they are doing everything possible to show that I have left the APC and joined the Labour Party. These Obidients guys are just jokers.”
