Back for its 20th year, police departments across the area are hosting the 'Cop On A Rooftop' event.
Officers along with their fans were outside the Dunkin on Willow and Shermer in Northbrook. The event was grounded as the roof was just a little too slippery due to the weather."Before I became a police officer, I worked for special rec. So, this has been a cause that's always been near and dear to my heart and recently my 3-and-a-half-year-old son was diagnosed with autism so it's become something that's even more special," said Officer Nicole Sparks.
They told us just how much it means to them to be able to help others with the Justin Fields Foundation.
