“It's just a big party, you know, and everybody's having a good time and hollering and screaming and dancing and drinking and socializing,” Nolen said, At the event, one woman was injured when she was either thrown out or jumped out of a moving vehicle, Nolen said. The woman suffered a head injury and was one of those airlifted to a hospital.
Beyond injuries, there was also an armed robbery during the weekend, Nolen said. A man’s wallet was taken after he was approached by someone with a gun demanding he hand the wallet over. He gave the person his wallet and was able to get away.
