Twenty-five passengers were hospitalized after an NJ Transit bus and a truck collided on the northbound side of the New Jersey Turnpike in Elizabeth Tuesday morning, authorities said.None of the injuries were considered to be serious or life-threatening, according to State Police.
The No. 139 bus was en route to the Port Authority in New York when the crash took place at about 7:35 a.m in the area of mile marker 99.4, State Police and NJ Transit said.Earlier Tuesday, NJ Transit said nine passengers and the bus driver were injured in the crash, near Exit 13.
