Three employees of a Hoover store have been charged with selling vape cartridges and THC products to minors.
Capt. Keith Czeskleba Hoover police received numerous complaints from citizens about Sky Vape & CBD at 3133 Lorna Road, about the business selling tobacco products to teenagers.
“Detectives began watching activity at the business and made several undercover purchases of products suspected of containing THC,’’ he said. “Lab results showed that some of the products had a level of THC higher than the 0.3 percent allowed by Alabama law.” Dempsey is charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and selling tobacco to a minor. His bond is set at $5,500.
