Four people were injured Monday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Calumet Heights – and there were children among the accident victims.
At 4:15 p.m., a minivan with four people inside was headed south on Constance Avenue at when its driver tried to turn left onto 87th Street. The driver failed to yield to a purple Dodge Challenger, which slammed into it, police said.Images from Chopper 2 showed the two wrecked cars at the scene – with the minivan flipped partially onto the hood of the Challenger.MORE NEWS:
The four people in the minivan were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and the University of Chicago’s Comer Children’s Hospital. Their ages and genders were not specified.
