A vehicle struck the three men who died, then hit another car in the rear, then struck the fourth pedestrian, police said.

The men were all fathers who are being mourned on social media as wonderful friends and muscle car enthusiasts. The two-lane road actually runs east west and the crash occurred further east on a westbound section between Route 532 and Route 72, a state police spokesman said Tuesday. A westbound, 2009 Nissan sedan struck the three men who died, then hit the Mustang in the rear, then struck the fourth pedestrian in the eastbound lane. The fourth pedestrian suffered minor injuries, police said.
