Parris Lane was killed in 2017 and, his younger brother, Najeer, was fatally shot Wednesday night in Allentown.
The gunman, Joshwynn Garcia, pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in the case and was sentenced in 2019 to 12 to 25 years in state prison.
“She wanted to make sure I was OK,” Neely said. “It’s her way to cope -- making sure her loved ones are safe.” Both Lane men have a large family of sibling, aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins that love him, Neely said.
