8 Good Times Netflix is set to give a soft Good Times an animated reboot with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and NBA star Stephen Curry producing the series. Good Times was a pioneering sitcom that ran from 1974 to 1979. The first African-American two-family sitcom acted as a spin-off of Maude and centered on a family living in a poor black Chicago neighborhood.
6 Barney Barney, the polarizing purple dinosaur, is set to return to the small screen in an upcoming animated reboot. Although he has a new look, he will still have the same message of kindness and love. This reboot is one of Mattel's many live-action and animated reboots and reimaginings in the upcoming year, though it should be noted that the upcoming animated Barney show is not connected to Daniel Kaluuya's more adult-focused version of Barney.
This isn't the first Bewitched reboot or spin-off, however. Lisa Hartman played the title protagonist in Tabitha, a short-lived 1978 spin-off. The show followed Samantha and Darrin's daughter in her new life as a production assistant in Los Angeles. Bewitched was remade as a Nicole Kidman movie in 2005, but was met with universal criticism.
