The Ohio Secretary of State referred 62 potential fraud cases to the state Attorney General's office in the 2020 election.Convicted felons can vote upon release from prison, including parole, probation or house arrest. They are not eligible to vote while incarcerated--except while awaiting trial. However, if the felony is related to election fraud, they are permanently banned from voting.
You can also return your absentee ballot in-person to your county board of elections before the close of the polls at 7:30 p.m. on election day.Voters who want a mail ballot must fill out a form that they sign and mail to their local boards of election.Ohio's redistricting process will continue after the November 2022 election. The state Supreme Court rejected five sets of state House and Senate maps drawn by the five-member Republican majority on the seven-person redistricting commission.
