Actor and film producer Kirk Cameron said he finds hope in polling that shows fewer people in the U.S. believe in God.
Polling, such as Gallup’s Values and Beliefs poll, shows that nearly 20% of Americans do not believe there is a God, a drop of 10 or more percentage points when comparing the 2022 figures to an average of the 2013-2017 polls.Cameron recently told Fox News’s Jesse Watters Primetime that people shouldn’t get down about such numbers.
The Growing Pains star also said he thinks the polling numbers and a resulting decline in church attendance can be a “good thing.”
