Two of Boston's finest are coming home in September for major gigs at Fenway Park: Aerosmith and NKOTB
will touch down at the home of the Red Sox on Sept. 18 and 19, respectively. Aerosmith's gig, a 50th anniversary celebration from the "Bad Boys of Boston," will feature support from Extreme. NKOTB will hit it the next night withand as-yet-unnamed other special guests for their only announced concert appearance anywhere in 2020.
The gig marks the third stop at Fenway for NKOTB, with tickets on sale to the general public beginning Jan. 31 at noon. The Aerosmith public onsale will begin on Jan. 31 at 10 a.m. EST. Citi is hte official presale card for both shows, with Citi members gaining access to presale ticketts beginning Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. EST for Aerosmith and noon EST for NKOTB. All preslaes end on Jan. 30 at 10 p.m. EST.
“To be playing in Boston with these legendary artists, in this sacred venue, is an honor! We’ll be pulling out all the stops to create a celebration unlike anything our city has ever seen,” New Kids on the Block's Donnie Wahlberg said in a statement.
