After being told to stop drinking wine, this woman founded a tequila company:
A health choice and a lack in the market led Kat Hantas to create 21 Seeds Tequila.
The concept works, she says, because as women, they immediately recognize what other women want to drink. The whole idea for the brand came from Hantas’s personal infusions of tequila. “I liked tequila, but I didn’t love tequila, and I was trying to drink clean,” she says. “The first issue I had with drinking blanco tequila was that it was very harsh, but I didn’t want to put a bunch of stuff in it. Even if I added lime and club soda, it was too harsh.”
