and will affect where some events are held, according to the city. Rock the Lock concerts, Saturday concerts and movies will be held in Lock 3′s Backyard, which is located behind the original stage, next to the Akron Civic Theatre.
The Backyard can be accessed from West Bowery Street, and parking is available at the State Street and Cascade parking decks. Attendees are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to the venue, which offers food and drinks for purchase. Live & Local concerts; Gospel Sundays; and On The Plaza fitness, skate nights and line dancing will be held at Cascade Plaza on Main Street between West Bowery and Mill streets, according to the city.This live concert series will kick off June 23 with Into The Blue ELO Tribute with Jersey. Additional bands that will perform in the series throughout the summer include Fleetwood Mac Mania, E5C4P3, ABBA Mania, Who’s Bad, among others. The series continues through Sept. 3.
