I'm Asher Umerie is a content writer, self-proclaimed film buff and as of the 3rd of January 2022, an Editorial Intern with Hacker noon. Shortly after getting accepted for this program, I navigated feelings of anxiety and inadequacy as I had never really worked in a relatively large organization. However, after an introduction to the culture at Hackernoon and a conversation with my mentor, I start to feel more comfortable with the process and my role within the organization.
It’s the end of a school year, the last end of my last school year, and exams had been intense, but an education in water resource and environmental engineering helps you find a happy place in the middle of stressful tasks.
