A car and flipped pickup sit among debris after a crash involving an 18-wheeler on the westbound lanes of Interstate 30 at Interstate 45 on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022, in Dallas. The Dallas County Sheriff’s office said about 7 a.m., deputies responded to a major accident on I-30 under the I-45 overpass. A tractor trailer pulling a flatbed trailer carrying concrete was involved in the crash along with two other vehicles. One fatality has been confirmed and two others were transported to the local hospital in unknown conditions.
Due to the amount of debris on the interstate, the roadway will be closed for an “extended period,” the office said. 🚨DALLAS - All lanes EB I-30 closed near I-45 jct due to crash until further notice. Avoid area; significant delays can be expected in this corridor.
