All-Ireland first round qualifiers draw: Monaghan to take on Fermanagh in all-Ulster clash
Monaghan and Fermanagh, the two highest ranked counties in the first round qualifier draw, have been paired together in an all-Ulster clash.One of the ties is as yet incomplete with Longford and Kildare having to go to a replay following their draw after extra time in Tullamore yesterday, though the loser will face the dreaded six-day turnaround with an away trip to Carlow, who were well beaten by Meath on Saturday.
Tipperary were drawn out first against Down though as they were a Division Two team this year, Paddy Tally’s side will enjoy home advantage given that they were in Division Three.
