JUST IN: Southwest Airlines asked the FAA to ground all of the airline’s departures this morning after they reported “intermittent technology issues.”

Southwest Airlines has asked the Federal Aviation Administration to ground all of the airline’s departures after they reported “intermittent technology issues” on social media, and nearly 200 of their flights at Denver International Airport have been delayed as of 9:06 a.m.Please contact Southwest Airlines for more.Numerous Southwest customers began reporting issues over an hour ago on Twitter, and the airline began responding to some tweets citing the technology issues.

We have had to implement a ground stop as a result of intermittent issues that were experienced, and we should hopefully be resuming our operation as soon as possible. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we'll be here for you if you need any assistance. -Katy
