SAN FRANCISCO - Amazon on Monday said a freshly-issued Federal Aviation Administration certificate has cleared the launch pad for drone deliveries in the US.

"We will continue to develop and refine our technology to fully integrate delivery drones into the airspace, and work closely with the FAA and other regulators around the world to realize our vision of 30 minute delivery." UPS said at the time that it received full certification from the FAA, allowing it to fly an unlimited number of drones with an unlimited number of remote operators.
