Decimated by a lack of infield depth last season, the Angels added another name to their list of options for 2023 by agreeing on Tuesday to a two-year deal with Brandon Drury, according a source.Drury, 30, whose deal is worth a reported $17 million, has played all four infield spots and the corner outfield spots.
Earlier this winter the Angels picked up Gio Urshela for a similar role. Urshela also plays all four infield spots, better defensively than Drury. Over his eight-year major league career, Drury has a .252 average and .736 OPS. Prior to last season, his career high in homers was 16.
