British boxing rivals Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have amassed jaw-dropping fortunes in their careers as The Manchester Evening News compares how much they are now worth.
Anthony Joshua 's resurgence in recent years has seen him return to his best with four straight wins. After losing to Oleksandr Usyk, twice, the 34-year-old has rebuilt his reputation with a perfect record in the ring.
All eyes will be on Wembley Stadium to see whether Joshua can continue his good form against a hungry fighter. Plenty continues to be made of a possible fight between Tyson Fury and Joshua, but any meeting between those two British heavyweights appears to be some way in the distance. According to Forbes, Joshua is worth $83million , as of May 2024. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, insisted that the 34-year-old is way out in front of Fury from a financial perspective.
Back in 2019, Joshua earned a career-best purse of £66million when he reclaimed his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF belts from Andy Ruiz Jr. Earlier this year, when he defeated Ngannou, Joshua is claimed to have pocketed £31million.
