A pro-business political action committee is behind the site
In the latest dust up to come out of the San Jose mayor’s race, an anti-Cindy Chavez website that uses her name as the URL is raising ethical questions over campaign conduct as voters receive their ballots in the coming weeks.
The website was created by the Silicon Valley Biz PAC, a pro-business group that has endorsed Chavez’s opponent in the mayor’s race, Matt Mahan. Chavez has traditionally pulled support from the county’s union bloc.
