Irving-based apartment builder JPI plans to build the 287-unit Addison Heights development on about 3 acres on Airport Road at Addison Parkway.
The site is just east of Addison Airport and north of DART’s new commuter rail line that runs from DFW International Airport to Plano. Construction is scheduled to start early next year on the apartment project, according to planning documents filed with the state.The five-story rental project would include more than 5,000 square feet of potential retail space on the ground floor. Apartments in the building would average more than 830 square feet, and the property will have a garage for more than 400 cars.JPI is one of North Texas’ busiest apartment builders with 5,000 units under construction.
