“He could give me some pointers,” Bjugstad joked after a rare practice in the Valley as the team enjoyed some time at home before resuming their long road trip in Las Vegas on Thursday night. “Just us three, we’re making sure we’re communicating and we’re on the same page because there are some things in this league where it’s hard sometimes in the offensive zone to find space and you got to be on the same page and I think we’re doing that.
“What I like about Maccelli is what people don’t talk about. It’s his compete level and his engagement defensively,” Coyotes head coach Andre Tourigny said."He takes pride in defending and takes pride in playing well in the zones and taking pride in blocking shots.”
