An arson suspect linked to a fire on the east side of Indianapolis threatened an employee at a liquor store before the blaze, according to court documents.
Jasper Vales, 32, is accused of intentionally starting the fire and is facing preliminary charges of criminal trespass and two counts of arson, jail records show.2700 block of Massachusetts AvenueFirefighters had the blaze under control in about 20 minutes. Investigators later learned there was no gas or electricity at the home.Man says he was on a date in Terre Haute.
