There is expected to be a gradual cooling before the potential for rain on Monday night.
The Santa Ana winds that blasted Southern California on Thanksgiving Day let up on Friday morning, canceling red flag wind warnings and giving way to cooler temperatures for the weekend, forecasters said.
Coastal spots in Orange County and Los Angeles are expected to be in the mid to upper 60s, while inland Orange County, the San Fernando Valley and the Inland Empire will have slightly warmer highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. The San Bernardino County and Riverside County mountains could see highs in the low 50s to mid-60s depending on elevation.
The slight chance of rain Monday evening into Tuesday morning is not anticipated to create much of an impact.
