Ubisoft just surprised AssassinsCreedValhalla fans with a new update a full week early!
Fans of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Valhalla have today been surprised with a substantial new update for the game a full week ahead of schedule. Ubisoft informed players earlier this fall that it would be releasing AC Valhalla's final content update which would include"The Last Chapter" quest on December 6th. Without any warning, though, Ubisoft opted to push this patch live today across all of Valhalla's various platforms.
As of this moment, title update 1.6.2 is available to download for Assassin's Creed Valhalla on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. As mentioned, the biggest thing that has been included in this patch is"The Last Chapter," which is a quest that brings about an end to Eivor's story. Ubisoft also teased today that it will have some"additional surprises" to share in relation to Valhalla before the end of the year, but we don't yet know what this might look like.
As usual, Ubisoft has also fixed a number of lingering bugs and other issues that have been found in Assassin's Creed Valhalla as well with this patch. While future updates to continue improving the game in this regard might continue to roll out in the future, this is likely the last major update that Valhalla will receive. Instead, Ubisoft is now turning the page and will look to focus on future Assassin's Creed titles, notably with 2023's Assassin's Creed Mirage.
