At least 10 people died and 127 were injured when a fuel tanker exploded on a highway in eastern China on Saturday afternoon, according to police.
Several homes and factories collapsed in the blast and sections of the Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou were closed, the report said. Preliminary investigations indicated that the explosion occurred as the driver of the truck, transporting the fuel from Ningbo to Wenzhou, was exiting the expressway, reports said.Footage posted online showed plumes of thick, black smoke and several vehicles on fire.
