In Belmont Craigin, two victims ages 17 and 18, were standing in a back yard in the 2200 block of North Parkside Avenue when someone attempted to rob them. A struggle ensued and both teens were wounded.
The oldest victim suffered a wound to the right leg, and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood where hee was listed in fair condition. The youngest victim was shot to thee right arm, and was taken to Stroger Hospital and listed in fair condition.
Hours later in Logan Square, a 46-year-old man was robbed as he was crossing the street. in the 2600 block of North Milwaukee Avenue. Two males got out of a black sedan and took the man’s bag.Around two minutes later, around 2:53 a.m., robbers struck again in the 3200 block of West Fullerton Avenue. Two men, ages 25 and 23, were walking when two males exited a black sedan and took their wallets and phones at gunpoint, police saiid.
