SYDNEY: Australia has demanded jail time or fines for 23 journalists accused of breaching an order not to report onIn a court filing released Tuesday , the department of public prosecutions called for the reporters and 13 of the country's leading news organisations to face trial for contempt of court.
A number of Australian newspapers and media organisations then ran headlines complaining that they were being censored and warning Australians they were not able to report a story that was in the public interest.
