Novak Djokovic will face Roger Federer for the 50th time after winning his quarter-final match against Canadian Milos Raonic
Seven-time Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic won in straight sets, which was quite the achievement for someone who couldn't see.
Novak Djokovic used eyedrops but eventually had to leave the court after having trouble with his contact lenses. The second seed then tried to hurry through the final games, clearly still distracted by his eyes, so he could get off court to get the contacts out and have an optician take a closer look.
Djokovic also paid emotional tribute to his friend NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, who died along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash on Sunday. "When I needed some advice and suport he was there for me. He was my mentor. It was heartbreaking to see what happened to him and to his daughter. It's unbelievable."
