“Negotiators have contact with this person and are working to come to a safe resolution,” said Sgt. Dara Nelson, a Colleyville police spokeswoman. During the stream, the man could be heard referring to other people inside the synagogue while speaking to someone who could not be heard. The man went on several profanity-laced rants and at one point seemed to threaten the authorities outside the building.
