The keyboard features a 98% layout made up of 103 keys. The overall size is relatively compact, especially for a keyboard with a full numeric keypad and a proper row of function/media keys. The Slim version offers a lower typing height, plus there are legs with two different heights to provide a choice of typing angles.

The keycaps are available in Forest or Space Grey colors and are a double-shot construction. There’s a choice of connection methods built into the Cascade 98 so that it can connect using Bluetooth, USB RF dongle or a USB cable. Better still, the keyboard can connect with three different devices over Bluetooth and another two via an RF dongle. That’s up to five computers, phones or tablets that can be switched between with the press of a button. This is a handy feature for anyone who works with multiple devices.
The beauty of a mechanical keyboard like the Cascade 98 is that it promotes incredibly accurate typing once you are used to it.
