'Bad Boys' beware: Cops to debut on FoxNation in long-awaited return
A year after announcing the show's move to Fox Nation, Cops will premiere on Sept. 30.“It has been nearly one year since we greenlit COPS and the reaction has been positively overwhelming. Our subscribers continue to flock to the series and we’re excited to provide our engaged audience with more of the exclusive content they have come to rely on from FOX Nation," said Fox Nation President Jason Klarman.
The first three episodes of the new season will premiere on Fox Nation on Sept. 30. Each episode is 20 minutes long."FOX Nation will continue to offer a free, one-year subscription to all first responders, including police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and paramedics " to commemorate a year since approving the program, according to a press release.
In 2020, Paramount Network announced the cancellation of Cops in the wake of George Floyd's death at the hands of Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. The event sparked worldwide outrage and calls for police reform."'Cops’ is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return,” a network spokeswoman said at the time.
