Battleford RCMP investigating physical confrontation after boating argument
According to a media release, the man reported to RCMP that just after 6 p.m. on Sunday, he and his father had been boating at Cochin on Murray Lake when they had a verbal confrontation with two unknown men boating nearby.
RCMP said the two suspects later arrived at the man’s home and a physical confrontation took place. The suspects also allegedly made threats toward the man. The man reported that the suspects said they were from Saskatoon. One is described as bald with a beard and a chain on. The other has the word Saskatoon tattooed on his back.
RCMP said they fled in a newer dark grey Dodge truck with black rims. Their boat is described as an older model coloured blue and “yellowish,” with a 25 HP Johnston outboard motor.
