Ben Affleck was seen getting teary-eyed during his new wife Jennifer Lopez’s 53rd birthday celebration in Paris over the weekend.
The “Deep Water” star, 49, was photographed Sunday evening with a flushed face and appeared to be visibly moved while having a conversation with Lopez. The pair were in the middle of a romantic dinner at the gourmet restaurant La Girafe, which is located on the Place du Trocadéro in front of the Eiffel Tower.At one point, Lopez was seen consoling her new spouse in a tender moment captured on camera.Reps did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on what may have caused the “Armageddon” star to be in such in an emotional state.
According to the photo agency, after Lopez blew out her candles, the couple went back to their hotel. However, they crossed paths with a fan who offered them a small, luminous Eiffel Tower just before doing so.The newlyweds dressed chic for their date in all black. Affleck wore a suit with a white button-down shirt slightly opened at the neckline, and Lopez opted for a gown with cutouts that she accessorized with a large pearl necklace.
The “Good Will Hunting” star and the “Selena” actress have been spending the past week in the City of Love celebrating not just Lopez’s birthday but also their recent nuptials.
