The driver of the car that hit her remained on the scene following the crash, investigators said.
A bicyclist died Wednesday night after she was hit by a car along a Middletown highway, police said.
Crystal Kaylor, 40, of Middletown, was struck in the northbound lanes of State Route 35 at the intersection of Chapel Hill Road shortly before 9:30 p.m., according to a statement from theThe driver of the car that hit her remained on the scene and was not facing any charges as of Thursday afternoon, investigators said.
The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact Middletown Township Police Patrolman Michael Reuter at 732-615-2045.
