All the bids were within PennDOT’s estimate of between $100 million and $125 million that was made before Russia invaded Ukraine and the cost of fuel and other materials shot up. Major earthmoving should begin this fall on the southern section that extends between the north end of the Route 11/15 Selinsgrove bypass and a Route 15 interchange nearing completion south of Winfield, Beck said.
