In the July 28-Aug. 3 tracking week, “What Was I Made For?” earned 17.8 million official U.S. streams, up 9%, according to Luminate. It also pulled 1.5 million radio audience impressions and 5,000 downloads, an increase of 9%.
“What Was I Made For?” is Eilish’s third Hot Rock & Alternative Songs ruler, following the reigns of “My Future” in 2020 and “Happier Than Ever” in 2021. The same songs comprise her No. 1s on Hot Alternative Songs. The previously mentioned streaming and sales counts for “What Was I Made For?” are enough to keep the song atop
