BioCryst shares surged 35% after hours, following a 3.5% rise to close the regular session at $2.07. The company said it opened a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to test the drug galidesivir in treating patients with COVID-19. The study, which is being funded by the U.S.
