On May 11, YG Entertainment officially announced, “Jennie will attend the Cannes Film Festival on May 22.” Created by The Weeknd and “Euphoria” creator Sam Levinson, “The Idol” is a new series about a pop singer named Jocelyn who strikes up a romance with an enigmatic cult leader . The series, which marks Jennie’s acting debut, is reported to premiere out of competition at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.“The Idol” will begin airing on June 4. Watch the official teaser
