More than 10 men were involved in the incident that occurred outside Orchard Towers yesterday evening
tweet A 29-year-old man who was left lying on the ground with his face bloodied, after a fight that broke out outside Orchard Towers yesterday evening, has been arrested. Sharing pictures of the incident to online citizen journalism portal Stomp, an eyewitness named James said that he alerted the police after he saw the fight around 6.30pm, yesterday. James recounted: “I saw a group of more than ten men coming out from Orchard Towers.
“When the fight got intense, one man took out his belt, wrapped it around his hands and used it to hit the other guy.” Noting that one man was left lying on the ground with blood pouring down his face, James added: “The police later arrived with an ambulance. Most of the group had left the scene by then but I saw four men being questioned.” The police confirmed that they were alerted to a case of affray at 400 Orchard Road at 7.17pm.
