A FedEx Express cargo plane has crash-landed at Istanbul airport after its front landing gear failed to open.
A Boeing aircraft has crash landed after landing gear failed to open and pilots had to skid along the tarmac before climbing out the window of the plane.
Earlier today , the nose landing gear of a FedEx Boeing 767-3S2F freighter, built in 2014, failed to extend as the aircraft approached landing.Fortunately, nobody was injured in the incident but pilots had to climb through the cockpit window to exit the wreckage. FedEx has issued a statement indicating it was cooperating with investigations and would provide more information as it became available.
The following year, on March 10, 2019, Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 crashed on land, killing all 157 passengers and crew.So far this year, Boeing has suffered four major commercial aircraft incidents.
