During the flight, the pilot informed everyone of a bomb scare which was later found to be a hoax

Singapore Airlines flight SQ423 had a bomb scare on March 25. The plane departed from from Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on schedule on Monday, March 25 at 11:36 PM but arrived 31 minutes late at Changi Airport at 8:01AM on Tuesday, March 26.

Singaporean Air Force jets then followed the plane right up until it landed. All 263 passengers and 18 crew members alighted safely from the plane after the compulsory security screening. Because of the delay in schedule, around 20 people were said to have missed their connecting flights.
