A schoolboy was knocked to the ground after getting hit by a van while dashing across a zebra crossing on Tuesday .In the footage, the boy is seen running out onto the zebra crossing from a side gate before getting hit by the oncoming van.The driver exits his vehicle and appears to check his van first before talking to the boy.

While some people said the boy should have been more careful, most netizens said the van driver should have slowed down while approaching the zebra crossing regardless of if anyone was crossing it.
